Rinoa looked around the Quad. She quickly spotted her friend, and winced slightly when she noticed no one else was there yet. She really wanted this meeting to go well, for Selphie. It meant a lot to Selphie, and she had been so disappointed by not being able to have a Festival last year. Rinoa wasn't completely sure what the Festival meant to Garden, but if it was important to Selphie, she was here to help.
She walked over to the table. "Hi, Selph," she announced, plopping next to her friend.
Irvine strolled casually into the Quad a few minutes after Rinoa. He tipped his hat to the girls. "Hello ladies." he said. He sat down on the other side of Selphie and propped his feet up on the chair next to him.
Lore walked over to the table, with Adalia in tow behind her. "Is this the Garden Festival meeting?" she asked the table. Adalia was a little shy, so Lore often spoke for the both of them.
Selphie scribbled the ideas down. She hadn't thought about how useful it could be, combining Irvine's experiences from Galbadia with hers from Trabia, and mixing in Balamb's usual events.
"All weekend," she replied. "Friday to Sunday, the beginning of May."
Rinoa tapped her finger on the table, thinking. "A band.." she repeated. It sounded like fun - maybe there was a student band that was good. Rinoa didn't know many of the students, really. A lot of them seemed to avoid her. It was lonely, but now that she was a sorceress, she had to learn to expect it.
"What about bingo or a casino night or something?" Addy offered. Addy remembered back home in Timber, bingo had always been a good fundraiser. "We can invite the whole community to play and charge for each card," she suggested.
