Cid had been discussing some matters with Xu, when he glanced down at the manilla folder on his desk - Miss Byron's folder. He hadn't exactly forgotten their meeting, but the visual reminder pushed it to the forefront of his memory. He glanced up at the clock and realized it was getting close to one.

"I have a meeting now, Xu," he announced. "Would you be able to come back at four?" he suggested. Xu agreed, making her way towards the door. Cid had already moved onto the next task at hand, pulling out various documents from Aria's folder. Walking over to his cabinet to grab a student handbook, he called to Xu as she left, "By the way, Xu, would you mind sending in Miss Byron when she is ready?"

"Certainly, sir," Xu agreed, ducking out of the room in search of this Byron.

Some woman Aria hadn't identified yet told her that Mr Kramer was ready to see her. She nodded politely, not saying a word yet, as she felt her mind script out all the words she needed.

Mr Kramer was sat down at his desk. He looked fatherly -perhaps even slightly chubby- but she kept that carefully to herself.

"Mr Kramer." She said, striking out her hand. "It's a pleasure."

Cid stood, extending his hand as well. "Lady Byron," he replied. "It certainly is. Welcome to Balamb Garden. Please, have a seat," he said, gesturing to a seat on the other side of his desk.

Aria sat down, tucking her skirt behind her legs. She made sure not to arch herself forward, instead sitting with impeccable posture and an amiable smile.

"I must really thank you for this opportunity, Mr Kramer." She said, her words even. "My family is particularly grateful."
