So.... I just when clothes and shoe shopping, and I took the parents along. I spent about 100 bucks, they probably chipped in 225 bucks. I don't think I've spent that much on non-suit clothes in my life. In any event... what I got ( Read more... )

Express and Gap Clearance racks are not bad places to shop... for you. :-)
Congrats on the lots of clothes-ness. Shopping = Awesome.

Gap clearance is awesome indeed, and Express runs good enough deals that you don't really need a clearance rack if you hit a sale period.

Also... the shoes are sexy.

i don't see a problem with shopping at those sort of places like Abercrombie, i haven't even heard of Express (can i plead "southerner"?), but i don't see a problem with avoiding them either. i think it's ok to shop somewhere as long as it's for the clothes, not the brand name. and to dislike someone for shopping at a place is silly. i mean, you can describe a person in desultory? terms "you know, one of those girls who shops at abercrombie and fitch" but not actually dislike a person because of it.

that's probably a lot more of a comment than you were looking for. haha ^^
