At least the hospital ship is on its way to NYC, and the national guard is going to build hospital facilities at the Javits Convention Center (since all the conventions have been canceled - including the Auto Show, and canceling that is a big deal.)

I hope they can get facilities up and operating and find all the required protective gear. Beyond belief that Cheeto is questioning New York’s need for more ventilators. Talk about Nero fiddling while Rome burns. Stay safe, Ace!

The plan is for the ship to take over medical care that isn't COVID19-related, so the existing land-based hospitals can concentrate on treating the virus and maintaining quarantine.

I'm going to sew a mask as soon as I find a suitable fabric scrap in my junk bin.
