While any film ought to be judged on its merits, a film that fails Umberto Bossi's crazy-ass delusions fails well, imho. Wankers, the lot of them!

Yeah, I'm not shedding any tears for Bossi or his cause. In fact the whole idea of Padania* would be laughable, if it didn't also make my skin crawl.

*Srsl? Padania? It sounds like something out of a children's book.

It looks like they tried to smush Braveheart and the 2004 King Arthur together with the battle scenes from Jackson's Lord of the Rings. Unsuccessfully. You really don't need to know what they're saying in the trailer, and I don't think that's a good sign...

No, the fact that the film appears to have flopped is clearly a positive sign. Though I would hesitate to say to what degree. The fact is that people didn't go to see the film because it was bad, rather than that they avoided it because they disagreed with its sentiments.
