I find these images more than a bit eerie, and quite fascinating:
Old photos from the WWII siege of Leningrad photoshoped and blended in with modern day images of St. Petersburg.

This is an amazing set of images. You know, in StPetersburg they keep some of the old WW2 writings on the walls. The city suffered so much.

I didn't know WWII writings were still intact. That gives me goosebumps actually. And yeah, those images are very evocative in their juxtapostion.

That was my first impression as well. To visually juxtapose the past and present, because it does really give you a powerful impression.
