There is this strange Scandinavian tradition to read and watch crime stories during Easter. In fact, the bloodier the better. Why this is I have no idea, but in honour of this morbid tradition have a look at this creepy, wonderful video by Swedish artist Fever Ray.

Hee! To be honest I'm still not sure if I find this video's pseudo-anthropological theme fascinating or annoying. Yet I rather like the moody craziness of it all.

And speaking of Scandinavian craziness. Did you know I live in one of the prime cities for Black Metal? Well, I do. Which means there are a lot of these guys around. Please take note that I take no responsibility for the level of sanity (or lack there of) in this video.

It is so creepy and enigmatic, and dark, dark, dark. I rather like it a lot too. (though I'm still a bit unsure what the deal is with all the African masks)

I'm not entirely sure The Knife - or any of their affiliates - are capable of being anything other than weird. Though they do make splendid music, especially to write papers to.
