Hee. Sadly that church was lost somewhere in the mess that is my harddisk.
The car picture is a stretch of road called the Atlantic Road, about three to four hours from where I live. I once drove across it in a winterstorm and have loved it ever since.
The Norwegian stormtroopers are from the national day (17th of May), and I just loved the combo of people in folk costumes, Norwegian flags, mountains and Darth Vader. Its the type of surreal imagery that I can't get enough of.
The road is gorgeous, and quite intimidating. Also I've developed a fondness for sepia coloured photos lately. Not sure why, but they appeal to my sentimental side.
The first one is a troll, drawn by the eminent Norwegian artist Theodor Kittelsen. Ages ago I did some posts on him here and here. I dodn't think its a specific troll as such, but more the generic, creepy troll that lives in the woods - or in this case is the woods.
I've been busier than EVER. Whyyyyyy
EXACTLY! Summer is supposed to be this time of relaxation. Its practically the definition of summer - and yet I keep working my ass of. There should be some sort of refund system. "This summer didn't perform as requested, and I also think the important weather device is dented, because it seems perpetually stuck on "Extreme!". Can I get my money back please?"
As a Lego lover of old I felt they captured something essential there. I also love adds that get the message across with just three colours and a minimalist composition. Well done!

But in general I'd say that Norwegians are just as nerdy as other people.
