First of all, YAY WE ARE HOME SAFE! lazy-daze and I are, I mean! And of course our first order of business after a grueling 12 hours of driving was to download and watch the SPN episode we missed while camping. I don't think I did a proper reaction for the episode last week either (which I watched at Wincon!) so I will just mention what I remember of that

SERIOUSLY. At the beginning, I thought they were learning about the movie in film class? But then when it became apparent that no, they were learning it in some sort of literature class, it was all wrong. Wrooooong.

I'm okay with Sam wanting out, I just want him to get a MWWBK episode to show us what his life was like during that year as opposed the the 90 second flashes we have been seeing.

I didn't think about the Lord of the Flies being taught in college, but you are right.

zomggg, the Lord of the Flies thing! I was like HELLO, NOOOO.

However! I mean, I need to rewatch, and I'm like 95% sure that upon rewatch in I'mma be bored as hell, but.. I kinda liked it? first time around? I mean, I want super impressed, but I kinda dug the outsider POV, the weirdness of the ep in all, the twenty min w no commercial and no titles, etc. However, I've been a sucker for the whole homevid thing for years now.

But all this is to say.. I so agree with you on the 'something else has ~got to be happening w Sam thing' and also, MAINLY, I AM SO GLAD YOU'RE STILL WATCHING AND SO HOPE YOU CONTINUE TO, AMD LET'S GET OUR HEARTS BROKEN BY THIS SEASON TOGETHER. <333
