Very cool! We had so few trick-or-treaters last night, so I'm glad I saw this today because otherwise I'd have spent a day carving a pumpkin that nobody would see. Although there is something to be said for feeling accomplished...
Anyway, how interesting that you can't find pumpkin in Singapore. I thought it was a staple of Asian cooking, southeast Asian anyway.
Hmmm, I'd always associated pumpkins (i.e. large jack-o-lantern types) with the Americas, e.g. I saw them *everywhere* back in my college days in New England. Hardly see those around here though we definitely have many smaller squash/cucumber aka "pumpkin" varieties.
