I won't be going to Karaoke tonight. I'm going to stay home and watch the debate. There are couple of reasons for this. 1. I am a politics geek with a degree in Polisci and 2. GO OBAMA/BIDEN!!

Did you have just as much fun as I did watching the opinion line? I thought it was really interesting how on a lot of issues, the men and woman agreed with Biden, but when it came to Palin, there was definitely a gender schism.

I noticed that too. I also thought it ironic that Rollins gave Palin points for apparently just showing up (he was the one that gave her a total of 48pts by the end of the debate) He had her ahead before she even opened her mouth.

Most of the other pundits seemed to be a little more conservative in the awarding of points to either canidate.

One more thing. Women tended to trend with Biden on just about every issue, but the MEN sided with Palin more...I thought that was very telling. I also saw that women significantly dipped when Palin was talking about the war in Iraq, especially when she said Obama's policy was the "white flag of surrender" This was clearly a misrepresentation and the Women of the focus group went substantialy below the line on that comment.
