It isn't negligence at all. His body was starved of oxygen during his cardiac arrests and he was brain damaged and then his organs gave up one by one. It's a shame - 22-years-old, baby coming soon, good career ahead of him etc.

I really thought he was going to pull through. :(

i know right? but they sould've known that was going to happen i mean...they're doctors for god's sake! they went to university for that! if you can't predict what'd happend then physical tests wouldn't exist!!!

Should have known what would happen? That he would be deprived of oxygen or his organs would fail? That's confused me!

I'm in so much shock from hearing this just now that I'm practically incoherent. There is no way on earth that a beautiful 22-year-old young man in superb physical condition should have died like that! His poor family. Oh god, it's so unfair.

yeah, it's actually so sad, but at least he was intelligent enough to leave a sweet baby that's gonna born in 2 months, so genes work!! n i really hope his wife won't even dare getting marry again, cause that'd be just so insulting, but that's my oppinion anyway

it's terrible.

who wants to accuse them of negligence?

luckily, it wasn't their fault.

yeah, it's really sad even for ppl who hate sevilla, well mayb not real haters, but the least i can do is show some respect for maradona's exteam even if i like madrid, plus, every footie player dying like that deserves to have his own post :)

this is very sad, i am spanish, and whole Spain is terrified, when i knew this afternoon that he finally died... i always hoped that i would get better, but he didn't... it's so sad.. poor boy, he was one of the most admirable players on sevilla.. this makes us realize that football players are for real...

Descansa en paz, Puerta!
