A random update on Bleach, plagiarism, Bleach Plagiarism, and kittens.

Well, not really.  Truthfully, I just feel that today was a slow day, and I felt I could stave it off for a few hours if I posted a discussion on my journal.

So, yes, there was that whole plagiarism thing.  I assume I need not provide links or details by now, since it exploded with great pomp and vigor from a somewhat isolated thread on Bleach

I have yet to see a single doujinshi (and I own hundreds) where any single panel looks even remotely traced. Most are the artists' own personal style applied to existing characters. If I freehand draw Ishida's character design without eyeballing poses, it's Ishida, but in my own style, not Kubo Tite's. But yeah, preaching to the choir.
