I thought you were on a health kick. Dousing oatmeal with cinnamon (thank you online dictionary) doesn't seem very healthy... unless, of course, it was purely for the purposes of science.

Then again, I'm half pulling this out of my ass. So.
Oatmeal is really good with berries or brown sugar (I know, not healthy). Milk, too. And other people swear by honey, but really, that's just gross.

It would seem unhealthy at first glance, wouldn't it? Let me clear it up. The oatmeal was unflavored, meaning it was nothing but whole oats, which break down slowly in the digestive system and thus don't cause a spike in blood sugar. Add to that the cinnamon, which is an actual spice with antioxidant properties--and get this: it lowers blood glucose level! So, my morning meal consisted of nothing more than a purely healthy dose of brain necessary carbohydrates!
