Update:
Went to Best Buy today - and the Geek Squad guy and manager agreed with me that not only was the unit REALLY broken, but that I had been sent the floor model which is a no-no (I, and the Best Buy guy who ordered it for me, should have been told by the Orland Park store that it was the floor model and that it should have been thoroughly checked over and reset before being sent out). The Orland Park manager is getting a phone call and I have $314 in store credit at Best Buy. Apparently, my model PDA is being phased out and a new model is coming in the next month or so. So I'm just going to wait for that one - according to the Geek Squad it's supposed to be really snazzy or something. Meh.
