Anyone know why all I seem to want to do anymore is lay on the floor of my study/home office/personal library/financial snake-pit and read? And it doesn't even matter what I'm reading. I was reading the author summaries from the Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism for three hours - not because I wanted to but because I started by looking up ( Read more... )

funny...I've been doing the same thing. I just read a book in which there was no character development and the story was pretty much just a lame excuse to introduce a bunch of history that's not a part of the church's official line (in short, like the da vinci code but less sucky) instead of hanging out with people, or doing laundry or working some more on my dissertation. Maybe there's something with how the stars are aligned that is causing madd procrastination.

Yep... procrastination abounds! Not that I really have that much to avoid, but I've been procrastinating a lot lately too. Today I'm finishing writing my review of the two textbooks that my advisor gave me to review over a month ago... she told me to read them and bring them back in a couple of weeks. oops!

Have fun finding the ambition to work. :)
