joffrey yesterday -- all the way to the end of the audition. there were three cuts, then a fourth after the class was over, and after the fourth they talked to the people whom they wanted to give jobs, so of course i was asked to leave. but a hundred and some people, down to fifteen (girls) and i was there?! and i am so out of shape right now, i ( Read more... )

thanks! hey, you should come take class at ruth page sometime. it's a good one (11-12:30 all weekday mornings) i go tues and thurs, generally.

tues is more balanchine, thurs i am not really sure, sort of a medley. tues is my personal favorite, but thursday is good as well, and one of these days i am going to try and make it to larry long's class, as i intend to audition for chicago civic ballet. ruth page is at the clark & divison red line stop, (about 40 min from the shoreland) and costs $12, 10ish w/a class card.

i'll be going tuesday morning if you want to come, leaving hyde park at 9:30ish.
