The Baby Bjorn was great initially but as Anya got heavier, it was totally killing my shoulders to carry her in it! The Patapum puts almost all the weight on the hips so it's a lot of difference. And apparently, it's not good to hang the baby by the crotch 'cos it puts too much pressure on the base of the spine.
Didn't know that about the crotch. I think the guy must be explaining but my boys were running around the store like crazy lil munkees so I'd only manage to hear half of what he said. =)
i have a beco that i use with S sometimes (though her dad uses the baby bjorn)... the only problem is that both of us get really sweaty in it. so by the time we're back from our walk, my front and her front's all got wet patches! lol
Ya I know!! it's a lil warm in the patapum too but K is quite content to sit inside cos she would rather be carried than sit in her pram. That lil rugrat!! =)
