I totally agree with you. The time away from each other actually brings you closer I feel. M is totally ok with me spending time with my friends, even the guys. Similarly I am happy to let him catch up with his close girl friends without me there. Surprisingly, this is something that a lot of Asians are not happy with their partners doing!

It's great spending individual time with friends without the partner tagging along (and waiting doing nothing). =) We are cool with each other meeting up with good friends of the opposite sex. It's really all about trust. =) I don't get people who stop their partners from meeting their gal/guy friends.

Yeah same here. It just means there's no trust in the relationship. But I have my limit of course. Basically do not meet in secluded places and don't come home only at 3am. Yes M has done both of these before and obviously I wasn't too happy. After all, why put yourself in a situation when temptation might happen, especially if the friend you are meeting is having problems and crying her heart out and you are holding and consoling her. Hmph! :p

Definitely. I would be mad too! Lunches are the best time to meet for those situations, me thinks.
