Schedule your first dose of your prescription for like an hour before the anesthesia is supposed to wear off, there's no need to suffer if you don't have to! I got mine removed (3 impacted, one just pulled... all at teh same time) in 2003 and it wasn't as bad as I expected, but make sure you have a hot/cold gel compress thing. They should giv eyou one @ the office. I hope you have a quick and comfy recovery!

aww I wish i would've read this before I went in.. that would've helped me relax (at taking one before.) I'm kind of upset these pills are not lasting that long. I took one and slept for one hour and it's already wearing off. Anyways, thanks P! :)

I did take a valium the night before b/c i couldnt sleep.. but didnt think about the day off. My friend asked if i wanted to hit the L but didnt because I didnt want to look paranoid going in there or interact wrong with the sedatives. Ooh my mom made some homemade broth. She still loves me! LOL BTW when are the celebrations (bday)?

When you go to sleep make sure you have a drool rag....'cause that's one of the nastiest things I ever woke up to.

LOL. Well, I was sitting at the table resting my head on my hands when my mom comes over and says, "Marissa, here take these tissues." Apparently I was drooling and had a nice little puddle already forming on the table but I didn't know because my whole mouth is numb. Lovely. But i'll keep that in mind. Thanks! :)

lol, you don't HAVE to have them taken it but it's RECOMMENDED. Mine were bothering me and the top ones were really hard to brush, so it made my breath kinda stank. TMI, I know. :)

yikes dear! That looks painful, but you'll be on drugs I guess. Yes, I think it's a good idea to stay with your mom. That way there's no possibilities of any kind of emotional rollercoasters while you're all messed up on drugs and pain. Anyway, there's always something about moms when you're feeling sick, no matter how old you are...

Yes, I agree she's been taking very good care of me so far. lol. As far as emotional rollercoaster.. why the heck did I start crying as soon as I came out of sedation? Crazy.
