Went riding w/ belfebe yesterday, so she could give her bike a shake-down ride before the Back Roads Century next weekend. It was an eventful ride, to be sure. Oh my goodness! I'm sorry to hear about your exciting two-fer. I'm so glad that you didn't get too damaged in the fall. It would suck mightily for you to have to sit out next weekend after all your training.

Yeah, all in all I came out pretty lucky. One scrape and some *lovely* bruises to show for it though.

Any sort of mishap on the bicycle is annoying. Sounds like you've got a pretty good bike shop to back you up.

Yup. The Spokes Etc in Vienna has been nothing but fabu. I've not visited any of their other locations, so can't really comment on the chain as a whole.
