This is actually amazing.

At first I thought it was just going to be ridiculous and campy (which it was) but it was also actually very, very good. As in, I really, really, really enjoyed this. A lot. In case you couldn't tell. It's so brilliant and adorable, and works so fabulously for this prompt. Plus, it's nicely written!

You've got my vote this week for sure. :)

Thank you for reading! I'm glad this wasn't TOO campy. At 4AM I thought this was cute, but at that hour EVERYTHING seems both cute and hilarious.

Originally I had this tiny detail about the whale shark being an attorney, but took it out when it seemed TOO silly. But yes, an ordinary octopus is best octopus.

This has such a nice children's book feel over it. That's a good thing, so please don't take offense. :) I'd really like to know what a Sherlocktopus is now.

Maybe Sherlocktopus is a Sherlock scholar, a Sherlock roleplayer (carries pipe and violin everywhere), or a detective?

An octopus with a violin sounds all sorts of awesome. :D
