I was thinking tat this was reminiscent of Pratchett, but it is a compliment to your style that you are able to pull it off with your own voice intact. I am always entranced by the uniqueness inherent in the fabric of your stories, both in the descriptions and the larger picture of how you choose to utilize the prompts. A job well done, to be sure!
