Webcomics, Again

Waiting for an electrician to arrive and figure out why the kitchen's powerless (oppressed kitchens everywhere, free yourselves and the rights to clean kitchen appliances). Well, one half of the kitchen. The other side, the side with the fridge, seems okay (which is good, because I'd hate to deal with a dead fridge), but the outlets on the ( Read more... )

I have one more webcomic I think you should add to your list.

It started this pass year, so it should take too long to catch up on it.

Namesake

There's seriously nothing worse than your refrigerator not having power and then having to throw out a bunch of food. Wasteful and sometimes, quite messy.

I have a feeling with you on my flist, I'm going to end up reading a lot more webcomics lol

Heh! When I said I'm interested in webcomics, I wasn't kidding. :D

It would have been tragic if the kitchen was completely without power. Since it's summer now, I've stocked up on ice cream, so a dead fridge would have been awful. And sticky. :(

No lie! Haha

That would have been SO tragic! I miss ice cream. Since my a/c isn't installed yet, I could definitely go for some delicious ice cream right now but my diet won't allow it. I'd rather feel healthier and hotter than have ice cream I suppose. (Man, it's amazing the way we lie to ourselves xD)

The ice cream is in flavors my family likes (on the upside, it means that when I DO buy myself ice cream, nobody touches my green tea ice cream :D). Myself I like sugar-free popsicles (essentially colored, flavored water, but I DON'T CARE) or freezing fruit, especially grapes and pineapple discs. If you haven't tried freezing grapes (assuming you like them), please try it! It's not quite ice cream, but it's SO GOOD in the summertime.

I interpreted "Cerberus-style female" as "behaving like a Dave Sims thinks women should behave", and went "Ew! Now, I have to check this out!"

Well, that's not what you meant XD.

Further, I believed that the boob issue couldn't be that bad. Umm. There's "huge boobs" and then there's "that looks painful". And this went crashing into the latter, never looking back. Nipples flailing.

The art seems really crowded to me besides. Like the boobs have their own gravitational fields, endlessly attracting STUFF.

The Cerebus chick was borderline passable (some women are naturally that well-endowed, or choose to be, which is okay, and like I said I know it's a thing for some folks so maybe it's the artist's thing), until I went back a couple pages and saw her. Ummm. D: D: D:

You know, I was never big on comics nor webcomics. I feel as though I should ammend that. LOL.

I love comics in general, but webcomics are particularly great because more POVs/styles are represented, and it's usually free to read them, and it takes no storage to love 'em. So in some ways it's better than print comics. :)

Besides, as a storyteller, it's fun to see how stories are told visually, marrying image to text.

That's cool! I've been thinking about checking some webcomics but I'm too lazy to check the site everyday for new comics. If they could simply be sent to my phone or domething...

I don't check them all daily (some don't update daily anyway). For one thing, I am impatient when it comes for constant cliff hangers, so I'll check back after several updates have happened.
