RULES & SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Dec 07, 2007 00:21

Because this is an invite-only exchange full of people who run exchanges themselves or know how it all works very well (basically we are all not stupid), I won't ask for your age or remind you signing up means you will submit fic before the deadline and if you can't, you'll let me know, you'll check your work thoroughly, blah blah. Here, I've simplified the rules:

RULES & SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  1. This exchange is by invite only. Anyone is welcome to watch the community and comment on the fanfiction posted, but you must have received an invite from the moderator yuki_scorpio in order to sign up and participate. Any sign-ups from people who have not been invited will be deleted. I will also mock and laugh at any such persons on my personal journal.

  2. All participants must add this community to their friends list in order to watch out for announcements.

  3. Only fanfiction will be accepted.

  4. Your fic submission must:

    • be at least 1000 words long (no maximum)
    • be a new, complete story that stands on its own, and that is entirely your own work
    • comply with the request you were assigned to
    • contain at least two of the "bad fic indicators" or "fandom cliches" in the request assigned to you.
    • be ready to post. i.e. I will not be putting in any HTML code for you. I will not do any formatting for you. You must include them in your submission.

  5. Email your submission to yuki_scorpio@livejournal.com with your LJ username in the header by 28th February 2008. You can include it as the body of the email, or as a .txt or .doc attachment.

  6. Include the following at the top of the email:
    Author:
    For:
    Title:
    Pairing/characters:
    Rating:
    Warning (if any):
    Summary:
    Notes (if any):

  7. If there is anything unclear, please ask here. If you have questions about your assignment, let me know at yuki_scorpio@livejournal.com and I'll pass your question on to the recipient.
