Time now for my brief list of the best albums I've heard in 2007, aka "stuff nobody in my friends list listens to nor cares about."

Zeitgeist is a turd. Flood is great, but he still can't polish those.

Perhaps, but when I first heard a web rip of Tarantula a month or two before the album's release, I was like, "Hey, this isn't half bad! It looks like Billy's gone back to what made the Pumpkins so good to begin with. Now I'll just wait for a version of this song that doesn't sound like it's underwater."

I'm still waiting for that version. :(

I hear what you're saying, but I like to think that if the songs are good enough, I can look past that sort of thing. If I were to pick one thing to improve about the album, it'd be the lyrics. Billy just isn't very good at being socially and politically relevant.

Your year-end music posts are great, always a pleasant surprise (because I'm too broken to remember that it's the end of the year). Will probably make an effort to hear at least some of the stuff, I think Oh No to start.
