Master List It's that time of the week kiddies! [Not that anyone reads this.]
Season 4 Overview. I think we need some pics... don't you imaginary person whom I am referring to? I'll take that as a yes.
That's much better. Okay so Season 4!
Season Four made me do two things. One: it made me want to throw a boot at Sam's head and Two: It made me want to squish Castiel. Who is Castiel? Well for one you shouldn't be reading this because this is spoilerific and here's another pic:
Yes! He's an angel!
Anyway, back to the whole point of this. Dean gets raised from the pit, Sam is better-ish. At least that is what it seems like until it is revealed that Ruby looks less like a blonde and more like a brunette.
That's her. So Sam sneaks off often to go do stuff with Ruby, I pretend that there is nothing sexual going on because I have never been a Ruby/Sam fan. [Now Season 3!Ruby/Dean that is a whole 'nother story of hot]. And Dean, well Dean just kind of chills out dealing with some PSTD. Not really but I like to imagine that's what it is. This is the season where the relationship between the boys gets super screwed up. I mean it. If there was one relationship I do not like rifts in it's the boys, and season 4 gave us one hell of a rift. Eventually we find out that Dean remembers hell and Sam's special powers come from demon blood. Yes, Demon blood which he drinks from Ruby. Joy. We also get to meet Anna an angel who tore out her grace and then got it back.
While all this Lilith is breaking the seals to release Lucifer. Great fun, I say. The season ends on one of the saddest notes so far. Not because one of the boys die or will die but because the episode right before the last one the boys have a total and complete knock down fight where Dean says the line, "If you walk out that door, don't you ever come back." And in which after that line is administored Sam looks a Dean for a little while and then walks out that door. Finally Sam kills Lilith, but low and behold that was the last key to the apocalypse.
And that's the end of Season 4.
What did I learn about Season 4?
- There could be a third person added to the dynamic that is Sam and Dean: Castiel
- That I abhor Dean/Castiel
- I really don't like Sam/Ruby
- I preferred Season 3 Ruby to Season 4
- And I like it better when both brothers are connected and happy together.
