I'm teaching K-6. I'll be at 2 schools on a 6 day cycle. I'm in a K-2 building 2 days and then the K-6 building for 4 days. I've been in the K-6 building and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. B) Send a newsletter out to classroom teachers asking for suggestions to integrate what they do in their classroom at grade level into your curriculum (i.e. if they study a unit on Canada then you know that you can do a unit with Canadian music...or America, patriotic songs)
C) Create several goals for yourself and your students for the first year. Visualize your ideal classroom and go from there...what do you visualize it feeling like for the students and you?
Hopefully this helps a little?
