Just finished watching Constantine, and while I expected another one of those crappy "let's-narrowly-abort-the-apocalypse" films, I was pleasantly surprised. Not to say that there wasn't a narrowly aborted apocalypse. Because there was. But it wasn't crappy. And I was pretty impressed by Keanu's acting in this one

*nods* I felt the same way about "Constantine" I really enjoyed it.

And was subsequently impressed with Keanu's acting.

And I really liked the plot and dry humor. PLUS the fact that they DIDN'T kiss!

There are those that dislike "Constantine" because they read the comics and stuff... (Same shit, different movie IMO) But I really enjoyed it! (Maybe cause I haven't read the comics? *shrugs*)

Oy. Reality shows!

Though I will admit to you now.... That "Surreal Life" has been a big draw for me. Or at least, it was last season... LOL

The deal with comic-based movies is pretty much the same as book-based movies... if you were into the original, it's more likely than not that you won't like the adaptation.

Hehe, I still wouldn't watch Martha's show no matter what. I've never been into reality shows -- except maybe occasionally pausing at one while channel surfing. Although I caught a bit of the new "So you think you can dance" show, and it was pretty cool. Especially this part with one big guy who could MOVE like you wouldn't believe.
