I've been looking all over for someone to talk to about that! Nobody I know watches the show anymore. :(
But yeah! I wasn't surprised that they killed off those two, but I was disappointed in a sense. They did it because both actresses were causing a lot of trouble on and off-set, and then getting arrested on DUI charges back in December. Michelle Rodriguez actually spent time in jail instead of doing community service. :P They were rumours flying around for months that they would probably be writing them out of the show -- and considering they're all stranded on an island, the only way to write someone out is to kill 'em! I'm just kind of bummed that the plot was driven by personal stuff with the actors rather than purely on the basis of developing the story.
Honestly, I don't think Libby's dead. She had all those blankets, which she was conveniently holding very strangely. And Hurley didn't seem too upset in the preview for next week. But we'll see, I guess. Honestly, I don't think people really liked the character of Ana Lucia either, so that didn't help
( ... )
Killing off Libby would be odd since her story was only starting. That whole thing with her having a link to Hurley...? That would just be left up in the air. But then again, the quality of the writing seems to be going downhill this past season, so I wouldn't be surprised either.
Michael's totally doing this to save Walt. He must have made some sort of deal with the Others. Although... you kill a couple of innocent people to save your kid, you're kinda risking losing grip on your mental balance. So I think he's going to be a problem in that he's no longer the Michael we knew, even though he hasn't necessarily been "turned".
"ARGH!! More waiting!!!"
At least it isn't as tooth-pullingly soap opera-ish staggered development as Prison Break. :P

On the plus side, the one about famous last words says mine will be, "I can pass that guy." with a picture of a wrecked car. Which is sooo me. ;-)
