I'm kind of jealous. I wish I could see without being blind without my contacts. :-P But I'm too scared/broke to go for surgery. Every year, my eye doctor asks when I'm going to get Lasik, 'cause I'm apparently a perfect candidate. I just need to meet that millionaire I'm going to marry first. :-P

Anyway, I hope the recovery goes well, and that you have sight like a HAWK when it's done. :-)

The prices have really come down, especially if you shop around instead of going by your eye doctor's referral. Referrals are a "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" deal. But I know what you mean. If it hadn't been for my mom pushing me so actively, I probably would've kept putting it off forever. :P
