I got the job offer!!!!

Why on earth was it sent to me via email, though?

BUT I GOT IT!!!!

After an annoyingly inane 1 1/2 hours of Microsoft Office testing earlier for another job...

I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!

Whoo-hoo!!!!

It was so nice to have Monday off.  I did a lot more rearranging in the condo.  My bedroom looks completely different -- moved the bed up against the window and voila, it's amazing how much space I now have!!!  Heidi loves it b/c now one side of the bed is up against the wall.  She likes to sleep up against the wall alongside me.  Awwww.  I also ( Read more... )

I was up until 2am last night going through more papers and junk. I've successfully removed 4 bags and 1 box of junk and papers from my room. YAY!!! I just got my shredder from Staples, too, so I'll be shredding paper tonight. I'm going to get rid of lots of papers tonight :-) I'll be shredder-happy... And I'll put photos away in albums. Well, the interview apparently didn't turn out as badly as I thought.  I had to call the HR person the day after the interview to find out the spellings of the names of everyone I met so that I could send 'em thank you notes.  The HR lady said I did really well, actually, and got a great review.  Well, yeah!!!  Whoo-hoo!!!  That's good news :-)  I ( Read more... )

OH GOD. I'm back from the interview. Which lasted only 2 hours, not 3, thank god. But, I think I screwed up on one of the answers to the questions. There were 8 long questions -- very detailed, typed up, and they gave me time to take notes on them before responding. There was then a role-playing question where I had to "act" my role out. I got a call yesterday from the prospective place of employment for my THIRD INTERVIEW!!! It's set for this Thursday, 9am. And it'll last THREE HOURS!!!
