So, all the information I'd had about what would happen on the day of treatment suggested I would be there anywhere from 2-3 hours to half a day. It's definitely worth it though. I'd say it was worth it from half 6 onwards I felt fine. It's easier to think about it in hindsight, but I'd say it's probably like childbirth (not that I'd know), in that everyone says that's it's a really painful experience but that the outcome makes it all worthwhile.
I can't wait until I can go swimming, that's going to be so weird!
