Wow, spring has sprung! It's delightfully green around here, and we've been enjoying a long stretch of unusually sunny, warm weather. The air is full of pollen. OK, update. I became a victim of the thing they're finally calling a recession a month ago. I really don't miss that job. I worked there for three years and two months, and was bumping my head against the increasingly-low ceiling anyway. Busy, busy, busy. Finals in two weeks and I'm trying to scrape up more financial aid for next term. In other news, I got laid off my job on Tuesday. FREEDOM! Of a sort, anyway. Well, everybody who needs to know already knows... I won't be going to Dragon*Con after all. Dammit! I got hit with bank fees amounting to about $400, which is almost exactly how much round-trip airfare is from here to there and back.
