Playing With My Christmas Present
As I have mentioned, the weather station arrived Friday. We also bought a secure fence mount and installed the station on it yesterday. The mount came with 3 feet of pole, and I purchased a second three feet of pole so that the station would clear the fence line.

The Weather at Alan's House
This is completely accurate because I still have the station sitting on the porch rather than attached to the fence yet. The wind readings will not be accurate until I get the holes drilled in the fence correctly (Attention Todd Cauldwell: Want to come over for lunch?).

A Great Christmas Day
There was a drive in an absolutely silent car (Ellen's hybrid), an enormous feast, lots of little moments of magic that make every Christmas unforgettable.
..and then there were the presents.
