I just received an e-mail from my grandmother, which is a nice way to begin the day. The contents, however, have me shaking with pure, sweet rage. It's been a long time since I've been so angry that if I were able to get the neck of the offender between my fingers I would squeeze until they touched ( Read more... )

oh my god..what a horrible thing to happen!

if i ever meet him..i'll take a shit on his head.

some people in the world nowadays just disgust me..how they want everything without giving anything.

and i know that if your grandparents are anything like mine...they won't track the guy down to sue him...altho since he didn't seem to have any funding i'm assuming he has no money.

that realtor should lose their license for letting that happen. i hope that something works out for them in the end.

I dunno... I got another e-mail from them explaining things with a few more details. Apparently the realtor feels horrible and is not being shady or anything, and is hiring the cleanup crew out of his own pocket. I guess my grandparents know him personally, which is why he made such a brazen move-- not the sort of thing he would have done mormally.

Rest assured, everyone, EVERYONE in this situation got screwed except Shitboy and his spawn, who got a free place to live for a few weeks. The realtor is a mess, my grandparents are torn up, the sheriff has to use time and resources he could be using to catch rapists and murderders... to catch a guy who steals ceiling fans and defecates on the carpet. This guy is a major burden to society. I want his balls for earrings.

so can your grandparents sue the realot or some shit? does the realtor need permission from the owners before handing the key over? shouldn't the owners be present during something like that? the realtor must have some kind of responsibility here. that fucking dumbass assfuck.

i'm so pissed i can't see straight! i can't imagine how you're feeling. or your grandparents. =/

as to your first question, see my response to butchy. they aren't trying to get the realtor in trouble because he's their friend and they don't really think it's his fault. and even though it is, he's being as cooperative as one person can be in this situation and feels terrible. my grandparents had met The Shitter a few times during the course of the pre-buying stuff and said that he in no way indicated that he was a waste of first semen and now oxygen.

my neighbors probably would. and a lot of customers i've had in my various travels through the Retail Universe. and probably a lot of coworkers, now that we're mentioning it. after all, i did know people at rocky run who "seasoned" the dressings.

people suck donkey balls.

Theoretically the key isn't supposed to be turned over until the deed itself is signed over. All the paperwork in the world doesn't mean shit until the deed is transferred. Best bet would be to sue the realtor for the damages and neglegence, and then let the realtor do whatever, sue perhaps, the person who was intending on buying the house. Its all very complicated.

O MIGOD you have never been more justified being angry. Ever. And I agree with the comments above. How you can help is make a phone call to the realty board that gives realtors their licenses and ask how a grievance can be filed.

Your grandparents should be able to get legal aid for something like this, and also, you should figure out which local television station does 'Seven on Your Side' type helping humans deal with crap stories.

A lot of these TV news departments will be able to advocate and help your grandparents get all the help they deserve as well as more. This is totally newsworthy and TOTALLY FUCKING SUCKS. O Mi God.

You are VERY forceful and articulate and you can probably be VERY helpful by putting some energy into this. I would do anything I could for you, I know how to hook all this up, but I don't really know you, but know that I am here if you want advice or help with this; I encourage you to take action. Don't let them just be trashed like that. O Mi God.
