Lots of great things have happened since Saturday. The film fest was fun. I saw Dig! and I, Zombi, for which I am too damn tired to provide links. Look them up though, they were good. We crashed after tripping all day and missed the party on Saturday and baked cookies for everyone who attended and was hung over on Sunday

I used to know a guy who had no idea how to read a subway map. We went into Boston and he couldn't understand why we couldn't just get on the train going the other way because it would get there eventually, right? And how did I know which train to get on, anyways?
The mind boggles at things like this.

Monday night we were on the subway and I thought I saw someone scurrying away down a side tunnel. I mentioned it to Michael. "Mole people," he said. Did anyone else know about this? There are entire towns formed in the abandoned subway tunnels under New York City. They have power, they leech it somehow from the stations, and they watch television and use refrigerators and microwaves. This is fascinating to me.I'm sure that there are plenty of people who live underground, but I highly doubt they've formed any sort of organized societies.
