I would say when depression starts to interfere with your basic survival (eating, washing, sleeping, etc) then it is deffo time to get help.

P.S. Personally Craig David does my head in! lol

you weren't clinically depressed. remember oliver? sleeping all day? that is depression. there is no real line between ormal depression and depression where you need help. depression isn't well-defined in psychiatrics. it's all guesses and theories. you're REALLY depressed if a medication that alters the chemicals in your brain helps you. otherwise you are a normal functioning human.

Vaughn is just headed down a bad path. he sees no happiness at the end of the tunnel. he had no hope. he hates med school and he hated his life.

if you see good thinga at the end of the hard tasks you ahve to do, then you will enver be permanently depressed.

When you realize that this isnt getting you anywhere, that you want something more but cant seem to shake this off.

It's bit hard to realize the first time around or at least it was for me. I only sought help when I was more afraid of myself than I was of seeing someone (I was bit phobic of psychs). Tha was years ago though.
