Big National Guard trip this year is Orlando; all we have to buy are Disney tickets. Jason's is free, and we can get companion tickets for $99, and add park hopper for $25 each. Do we need park hopper if we only plan on going to one park at a time anyway? The trip is June 23-27, not thrilled with peak season, but it is a mostly free trip that ( Read more... )

yay! that sounds so fun, and molly is the perfect age to get to see disney (tinkerbell and princesses!) for the first time :D if you are only going to do one park per day, i wouldn't bother with the hopper pass. we paid for hoppers on our last vistit, and didn't use them with the kids--mostly because if we had to leave it was usually before we were done with everything at THAT park, so if we were going to return the same day it would be to finish what we started! we always carry snacks and bottled water in our backpacks b/c it is EXPENSIVE in the parks. they check your bags when you go in, but they're looking for danger not contraband snack foods so no worries. Stroller rental is worth the fee--for some reason their strollers seem very easy to push. Oh, and take your camera, cause you're gonna need it!

oh, bring your own rain parkas and pack sunscreen in your park bag so you can reapply. it's hot in june, but if you hydrate and keep from getting sunburned it'll be just fine :D
