I totally agree with you. The last straw for me was when stupid people decided to start selling Greeks for Bush t-shirts at all the houses, and like over half my sisters bought a shirt, and we're not even in the Machine or anything. Dear Lord when will it stop? These stupid kids are too high to know what's really going on.

I told my mom today that I sent in my absentee ballot and voted for Kerry. She was upset. hehe.

i really enjoyed that post, kris, and the link to blake's. i agree with you whole-heartedly, and i'm sorry the people at your school aren't more openminded. remember though, that you should hold your head high and keep displaying your political views. Don't let them make you hide your beliefs; you'll eventually earn the respect of the people who matter. However... you shouldn't judge the people who support Bush, either. i'm sure some of the people with the W stickers really know what they're talking about and will vote on the issues, just as some people who will vote for Kerry will do so just because their friends are. don't stoop to the level of the ignorant masses, kris, you're better than that.

I'm sorry you're experiencing the sour part of politics. That's really uncool.

I'm pretty conservative (I can't vote, but I would vote Bush) and I think it's really rude to go around slamming people because they feel differently. The kid in my math class doesn't like sine graphs, and I do.

Should I steal his math book?

I think not. It's tactless.

im terribly sorry that you have to deal with people that are intolerant and ignorant as such. however i wish that whenyou read what i said about "ignorant" people, that you had realized that i meant that about people who act like that regardless of their political alignment, and not you or any of my other close friends or lj friends. just because its said, doesnt mean it applies to you ( ... )

Oh chill out. I know what you meant in the post and I personally DID pay attention to the entire things, going back over and re-reading some of the paragraphs and good points. I just disagree with you. And I did take offense to that last paragraph. Any Kerry supporter would. The SNIDE way that you put it was uncalled for and just because you didn't mean it for your friends, that's how it was stated and taken ( ... )
