Ok. So I need to kick this new year off right. this one seems to ending on a downer. I’ll be in Tampa for New Years to do something different. The gators play there on Monday so it should be a fun weekend. I found out yesterday that I really need to have surgery. I have sleep apnea. That’s a condition where you stop breathing in your sleep

wow. what inspired you to go to the doctor? I feel like I have the same problem but am unsure of what kind of doctor to go to. There are times in my sleep where I know I'm asleep and I try to awake myself because I feel like im holding my breath for a very long time.

good luck with that though dude. your surgery sounds like such an intricate procedure.

actually my ex girlfriend told me i needed to go to the doc. she told me i had it from how i would scare the shit out of her by not breathing for long periods of time while sleeping. i went to my primary care and he ordered the sleep study. i was never told how sever my symptoms were though. i've just been getting worse here lately and decided to see a specialist. thats when i found out what i said in my post. you should get it checked out. i never realized it was as common as it is until i realized i had it.

Billy's dad has sleep apnea too and he just has to wear the mask so far, and hates it.
I'm sorry you have to go thru that, but maybe it will be worth it in the end, I hope so!

The recovery on this is gonna be a bitch, but once it is ihealed, it will be a whole new world. Glad I could diagnose you, even at the expense of lack of sleep! ;) Hope you are doing well, I thought about drunk dialing today, but it was like 615 am.
