Personally, and I don't mean to offend anyone in any way, that kind of situation would come as a shock to me if it were my child, too, particularly because I don't know how I would handle something like that. I honestly would think I would cry, too.

Regardless, I don't agree with what your mom said.. I mean, still, you have a daughter. She doesn't become neither because of her orientation.

I'm sure it just came as a shock to the mom. The stage of acceptance between mother and daughter will come. The daughter was really brave to confess that-- and I really admire that she'd come to the truth rather than hide that.

Wah!! I agree with you too. It really pissed me off when someone say I'm not normal because of something they don't have or not them or whatever.
I don't agree with your mom, it's just what she is!
and you are right, we can't stop people for saying what they think about us but I just live the life that i think is better for me and makes me happy and not make others happy.
