Scope Creep

It's the term UberGeek uses for every home improvement we embark upon. Each time we do upgrade something (faucet, dishwasher, etc.) the scope of the project creeps upward and outward into something more, bigger, badder, better ( Read more... )

This reminds me of my sister's go arounds in her kitchen. Everything was stripped down to the floor support boards, which showed her where the original well for the house had been. Leslie replaced everything, and then had a wine bottle fall onto the glass top cooker, shattering it. That took some time to replace.
An LG is a very good appliance and I 'm sure you will enjoy its efficiency.

It sounds a very similar story. Today, the wall oven is out, the old fridge is across the room, the cooktop and vent are out, and we have some support issues to deal with considering the soffit (sp?). But all in all, I'm looking forward to a toast when this phase is done!

I know! I was rather impressed by the term, and I've used it often because it applies to so many things. I used to call it the domino effect, but scope creep is more appropriate!
