It's the Goddess Ashera's doing. Her judgement on us all, apparently.

It is. From what I remember, Goddess or no, we decided to stand against her and try to save everyone. I can only wonder if we succeeded.

It sounds like the Goddess was trying to kill everyone. Was she intending to do such a thing to her own people? If so, I hope so as well...

I think her goal is to create a blank slate. All the fighting that occurred between our people has angered her beyond the point of no return. She definitely wants to wipe us all out.

The GODDESS did that?! I remembered everyone turning to stone, but not why. Why the Hell would the Goddess do that to us?

She awoke when the dark god was released from Lehran's medallion. From what I understand, she was a little angry about all the fighting we'd done over the years.

...Guess I can't blame her for being ticked about all the fighting, but turning everyone to stone is a bit much.

That's the consensus all of us came to, yes. Our goal was to march on Begnion, to the Tower of Guidance, to put a stop to her.

It's just as I said. We were punished by the Goddess Ashera for warring amongst ourselves, and she petrified most everyone on the continent.

I think I remember seeing you among the group of us who were not affected, so you can at least take that to heart.
