I have no idea how your journal entry was forwarded to me, but I was moved by it nonetheless.

I hate that you had to experience this, but please know that you have done the right thing by forgiving. Your forgiving her releases you from the burden of carrying any of the bad things which have transpired. If she elects to accept your forgiveness, great. If not, fine, but you are still free from it. I hope that you will not get weighed down by the negative response. Take courage and know that you did the right thing by extending to her the love of God and the seed of forgiveness.
