This year will be the first year I'm hosting Christmas at my house. My mom, grandmother, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew are all coming down to spend Christmas with us because we can't go back home for Christmas. I'm SOOOOOOOO excited!! this is something that i *love*love*love* to do!!!

being in chicago for so long and not being able to make trips home for holidays, like ever, i've always done big holiday meals. it was always just the 4 of us, but i didn't care. i always go all out!!!

it is soooo fun!!!

um, no.

thanksgiving is at the in-laws. it doesn't bother me, though. as long as i have my own kitchen i don't mind spending time in hers.

It's great fun to do. A lot of work but great fun. I started hosting my parents. My mom will still do it but she gets REALLY mean! Basically she has a lot of physical pain and it is too much for her. BUT she won't admit it. Then she just yells at everyone. So I took over the holidays. I am planning my Thanksgiving shopping now. :-) I need to post a couple of my recipes too on the community.
