I surprise myself with how much I enjoy Steph even though in high school I heard nothing but bitchtastic and drunktastic things about her. She’s always been hilarious, but who wants a hilarious bitchasspunk for a friend

soooo awesome!!!! Oh the green tights will be living it up in Chicago, don't you worry. I dug them out of our many Halloween costume boxes for Poison Ivy but I never got around to making the rest of the costume, ha.
Picture soon, no worries. It may not look so hot but it's so easy! And it helps me self related image issues! The getting used to not caring about having a weirdish haircut that is not trendy/punk/youknowwhatImean.
I watched two discs of Arrested Development and another Georiga book today. Good day I must say.
Oh easy is totally the best way. You are my hair idol because it is EASYPEASY (shower, bed, ready to go) and GORGEOUS WAVY NATURAL AHHH. So jealous.
I know I seem to not realize how I miss AD until I see it again. I just found an AD mood theme that Im going to use for claraloona once they get my money in CA!! woot!
Quadrophenia - I was so young when I first watched it that I didn't know what was going on, but I knew it meant somehting. angst ridden youth, societal change, choices, being cool...I felt like it well documented the beginnings of punk/mod etc..
The River's Edge - My friends and I were over the moon this movie about real issues. We were all attracted to such dysfunction, it was crazy.
Suburbia. Young Punks, again, dysfunction to a huge degree. It spoke to the disillusionment my peers felt with adulthood and life in a small town on the 80's.
There were plenty other films, but those were the-must-see (plus Sid & Nancy) if-you-want-to-be-cool-at-all films.
It wasn't all dark though. I loved any Monthy Python as did most of my friends. I also watched Bladerunner over and over again along with Legend & Labyrinth. I was too happy and positive to truly be considered punk :0)
I finally got around to watching Bladerunner this summer (even though we've owned it for a while now) because Minority Report is my favorite movie and Philip K Dick wrote the short stories that those two movies are based off of.
I AM SO JEALOUS. Seriously. I wish I could have been there! Sadly, they're not coming to Toronto this year. Which shirt did you buy, the Hogwarts Tonsil Hockey one or the Power of Love one? Coincidentally, I wore my tonsil hockey shirt today for the first time in months!!!!! Tyler gave me a weird look. :D
Why not until 2010?!
You must post a photo of your hair!!!!! I want to see it!
Because in all their UEE08 emails and bulletins they kept saying this would be our only chance to see them in 2008 and 2009 most likely since they do not tour much anymore, or from now on or something. But they're not done forever. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for 2010.
Oh I'll take one and post it soon, now that I'm done with 12 days at work all weekend!
The Power of Love one! I forgot you had tonsil hockey! I was deciding between the two of them actually! Hahaha Tyler.
