Wish I had a clue in hell that'd help out. :B The dating scene is terra incognito - but trying too hard to grasp at relationships will burn you out in a damned hurry. I think if you take some time to focus on your own peace of mind and enjoyment, and go do things you enjoy just because you wanna do 'em and not for the prospect of what new friend or partner you might find along the way, you'll not only be better off for it but (with all due irony, because the universe is perverse) be more likely to find others with whom you do click.

Where are you exactly? I grew up down there so might could recommend a couple places to hang out at least.

But yes, if nothing else? I had very little luck finding weird friends while living there. Good luck :/
