So much to do

I have realized how much I can do now with all the pictures I have taken. I spent a few days tweaking the below photo taken by Josh. I am going back and forth between tone-mapping and Photoshop a lot and am excited to see such improvements are possible. I was able to get many more values out of the image and I got rid of some unwanted objects ( Read more... )

Josh got rid of the light using photoshop on this photo a couple of years ago. I can tell that you heightened the focus on the water, gate and dude along w/the colors. It looks very nice:)

Yea when you get rid of stuff it tends to make the space behind it more blurry than the rest of the picture. I fixed that by selecting the background plus a bit of the water and blurred it so it would not be noticeable. It puts more focus on the main subjects. The city always annoyed me anyway.
