ah, jana . . . *long distance hug* i'm so sorry it's going down that way, oh and by the by i love that quote, and it's so true. and here's the thing - you were the "strong man in the arena" just by doing guard this year. after all, it was a risk, what with instructors quitting, new istructors coming in, and a somewhat "unpredictable" director and unsteady financial support. all of that notwithstanding, you stayed in and invested yourself, and did all you could to make things turn out right. that takes courage, and strength of purpose. even though you didn't get to display that courage at worlds, no one can doubt you posess it.
